Multi-platinum music icon, reality TV superstar, creative entrepreneur, and philanthropist, Bret Michaels, will bring his record-breaking “Parti-Gras” Tour and birthday concert to The Theater at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, part of Curio Collection by Hilton, for one night only on Saturday, March 16, 2024. Michaels will be joined by Edwin McCain.

Arkansas is saturated with an abundance of talent, whether it be on a theatrical stage, a concert hall, or on the radio. Quite often the talent overlaps from one avenue to the next. This can be said about Radio Royalty Sharpe Dunaway. Though he has switched from radio to videography (you know....video killed the radio star- Trevor Horn, Geoff Downes and Bruce Woolley ca. 1979), Sharpe has a lot of history when it comes to Arkansas entertainment. Broadway World’s favorite MC Blake Woodson sat down with Sharpe to reminisce about all of the Rockstars he has met over the years, but first we wanted to know how he got into videography.

WOW! What a fun show! I love some of the crazy lines that just pop up out of nowhere, like “Phil Collins can be kick ass sometimes!” Rock of Ages definitely lived up to its hype, and I was super fortunate to see this production. This well paced show boasted soooo many strong performances, I hardly know where to begin.

What did our critic think of ALCOHOL POISON at TCs Midtown Grill? When I found out that my friend Sharpe Dunaway was debuting a Poison tribute band at TCs Midtown Grill, 1611 E Oak St., Ste 19, in Conway, Saturday, May 6, I knew I had to be there. Poison was every girl's favorite 80s hair band, and their images adorned our walls. We screamed 'I love you' in true hormonal rage every time they came on the radio. They said they wanted action tonight, and had it have been possible, we would have given it to them. So, when ALCOHOL POISON took the stage, I closed my eyes, summoned my inner teenage vixen, and partied to the sounds of my youth.

What did our critic think? Split Stage continues to provide a haven for adult-oriented semi-pro theatre. The plot, overly convoluted by design, parodies eighties movie comedies with a 'let's save the rock venue' stream of cliches that get mercilessly savaged. Wannabe rocker Drew (Gabe DeRose) can't seem to make a love connection with nubile waitress Sherrie (Raegan Hochman), while German real estate developer Hertz (Hank Fodor) and his effeminate son Franz (Caleb Feigles) attempt to turn the Sunset Strip into a strip mall. All this mixes with a stream of colorful characters like a hair metal rock god (Michael David Stoddard), a social reformer hippie (Clair Ivy Stoller) and pair of chaotic-bisexual club owners (Josh Reardon and Bill Elder).

Sygnal To Noise has been greatly inspired and influenced by bands like Queen, KISS, Alice Cooper and David Bowie, for their showmanship and visuals with a blend of such bands as Stone Temple Pilots, Alice In Chains, Soundgarden, and Pearl Jam for their songwriting and vocal styles.

Ruth Eckerd Hall will present, in his first public appearance in Florida in two years, multi-platinum recording artist Bret Michaels’ Concert With A Purpose, featuring special guests Warrant and U.S. Army Veteran and Dancing With The Stars’ alum Noah Galloway on Saturday, February 26 at 7:30 pm.
