Jim Downey Documentary Sets October Premiere on Peacock

The Peacock original documentary “Downey Wrote That,” about the career of Jim Downey, is set to premiere Oct. 17. The hourlong film explores the sketches, contributions, and enduring influence of the SNL comedy writer.

The Criterion Closet Coming to New York Film Festival

The Criterion Closet is going mobile. In celebration of their 40th anniversary, Criterion has built a replica of their famous film closet inside an 18-foot delivery van, and later this month, they will be taking their Criterion Closet Picks show on the road across the USA, starting in New York City, with other locations to be announced.

Richard Kind to Appear as Guest on JOHN MULANEY PRESENTS: EVERYBODY'S IN LA

A new guest has just been announced for John Mulaney Presents: Everybody’s In LA. Richard Kind, comedian of the stage and screen, will appear as the announcer of the comedy special, which debuts on May 3. ​​​​​​​John Mulaney will explore the city of Los Angeles with his comedian friends in this upcoming Netflix special. Over the course of six live episodes, the comically unconventional show will feature Mulaney along with special guests and field pieces all shot in Los Angeles.
