Meet the Current Casts of Broadway's Long Running Hits - MATILDA!

A great, big Broadway season is on its way, with fourteen productions already slated to open in the next few months. With several weeks until the craziness begins, there is still plenty of time to catch up on what's been going on at Broadway's already occupied theaters . BroadwayWorld will be profiling the hits of the Great White Way that continue to draw crowds after months, years, and (in some cases) decades. Meet the current cast of Broadway's MATILDA below!

Hello Broadway World! As you may know, my sister and I have been performing at 54 BELOW, and today, I'm going to tell you a bit about our experience. When I first heard about the opportunity to perform at the famed supper club 54 BELOW, I was thrilled! Both my sister and I have always wanted to do some kind of “sister act” together professionally (well, at least more professional than the shows we subjected our parents to in our living room growing up).

Tony Award Winner and Grammy Award Nominee Milly Shapiro (Matilda The Musical) and triple threat sister Abigail Shapiro (The Grinch Who Stole Christmas) will be taking the stage at 54 Below on Monday, June 9th in "The Shapiro Sisters: Live Out Loud". This will be their third performance at 54 Below following Abigail's run as Cindy Lou Who in the regional production of The Grinch Who Stole Christmas and Milly's tenure originating the role of Matilda for the original Broadway production of Matilda the Musical at the Shubert Theatre.

A South Central PA native and Tony Award-Winning child actress, Bailey Ryon, recently seen on Broadway as one of the original actresses in the title role in Broadway's Matilda the musical, will perform at The Cinderella Ball tonight, March 7th at 6:30pm at The Gettysburg Hotel Ballroom located at One Lincoln Square in downtown historic Gettysburg. The Cinderella Ball is the 2014 Gala Benefit Concert for the non-profit organization the Gettysburg Community Theatre.
