Since making her Broadway debut just six years ago as a replacement in Mamma Mia!, Ashley Park has taken on everything from Sondheim to K-pop. This season, she tackles her next great challenge- starring in her very first play. 

James Cromwell was a guest on Thursday's episode of Live with Kelly and Ryan to talk about the new play he stars in, Grand Horizons. During the interview, host Kelly Ripa mentioned that the show is based on a 'Gray Divorce,' to with Cromwell replied, 'Evidentally there's an epidemic of divorces for people in their 80s, which in some ways I can understand, having been married three times.'

Composer Helen Park showcased her songs from K-POP, 50 First Dates and more in a fierce, chic, real concert at 54 Below that featured some of the best talent in town, including Ashley Park, Jason Tam and Helen Park herself.

Grand Horizons officially opened on January 23 at The Hayes Theater, where it will play a limited 10-week engagement. Back in that age we call golden, Broadway marquees were frequently set ablaze by long-running plays that producers looking to turn a profit lovingly referred to as boulevard comedies. These were typically middlebrow laugh machines expertly crafted by the likes of Mary Chase, Neil Simon or Abe Burrows (Think HARVEY, THE ODD COUPLE or CACTUS FLOWER), involving contemporary everyday characters in realistic situations containing just enough sentiment to make you care about what happens next, while maybe even wrapping up with an uncontroversial, heartwarming message.

FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Helen Park In Concert on January 29th at 9:30-pm. Winner of the Lucille Lortel and Richard Rodgers Awards, and three-time Drama Desk-nominee, composer-lyricist Helen Park will share some of her newest tunes, as well as songs from her acclaimed Broadway-bound show KPOP, and other projects. The show will feature songs that are unapologetically K-pop and bilingual, in a blend of electronic and acoustic music.

Grand Horizons is now in previews on Broadway! Grand Horizons will play a strictly limited 10-week engagement, and officially open on January 23, 2020 at The Hayes Theater.
