The national tour of Kimberly Akimbo has released a video of Ann Morrison performing 'Make A Wish.' She recently took on the role in the touring company of the Tony-winning musical after Carolee Carmello took her final bow.

This touring production of the 2023 Tony Award winner for Best Musical, KIMBERLY AKIMBO, is based on David Lindsay-Abaire’s play of the same name. Kimberly, about to turn 16, has just moved with her family to a quiet suburb in New Jersey.

Charles Kirsch is the 17-year-old host of the theater podcast Backstage Babble, where he has conducted over 250 in-depth interviews with some of Broadway’s best. In “Stage Direction,” he will be using material from the podcast and additional interviews to chronicle the career and impact of some of the most influential theater directors. 

Ann Morrison will lead the National Tour of Kimberly Akimbo, in the title role, beginning next month. Morrison will join the cast starting next month in Cleveland.

Asolo Repertory Theatre has announced complete casting for the epic closing of the 2024 – 2025 Season, Jesus Christ Superstar, which begins previews on May 14, 2025. Music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, Lyrics by Tim Rice and directed and choreographed by Josh Rhodes. Jesus Christ Superstar runs May 14 – June 15.
