GHOST STORIES Will Embark on a UK Tour

After exhilarating audiences across the globe with record breaking, sell-out productions and a smash hit film, the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre's production of Andy Nyman and Jeremy Dyson's supernatural sensation Ghost Stories begins it's first ever regional tour in early 2020 on completion of its West End run this autumn at The Ambassadors Theatre, London, which transferred following a smash-hit, extended run at the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre. More spine-tingling and terrifying than ever, the Olivier Award-nominated show opens at The Alexandra Theatre, Birmingham on the 7th January 2020.

Tickets go on sale at 8.30am today to ATG Theatre Card Members and British Airways Executive Club Members for The Jamie Lloyd Company's production of Edmond Rostand's Cyrano de Bergerac, freely adapted by Martin Crimp, directed by Jamie Lloyd and starring the Golden Globe and Olivier Award nominated James McAvoy. The Jamie Lloyd Company is the successful partnership between Ambassador Theatre Group, the UK's leading theatre company, and artistic director Jamie Lloyd.

BroadwayWorld has learned that real-life married couple Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker will come to Broadway in Neil Simon's Plaza Suite following an out of town run at Boston's Colonial Theatre - where the 1968 production also originated, before a 17 week run on Broadway at the Hudson Theatre with previews set to being in March. The production will be directed by John Benjamin Hickey.

On Monday, the historic Emerson Colonial Theatre teased that they would be making their next pre-Broadway production announcement later this week. The teaser video posted on their social media channels indicates that the show will be a revival of a comedy, and will feature a pair of stars that haven't been seen on stage together for more than 20 years. The Colonial's video also references that the play was written by one of the most prolific playwrights of the 20th Century. Check out the video here.
