Barrington Stage Company, under the leadership of Artistic Director Julianne Boyd, will present a developmental presentation of a new dance musical, A CROSSING, on December 13 at Alvin Ailey Dance Studios.

The current West End Queendom are Jarneia Richard-Noel (as Catherine of Aragon), Courtney Bowman (Anne Boleyn), Natalie Paris (Jane Seymour), Alexia McIntosh (Anna of Cleves), Vicki Manser (Katherine Howard), Danielle Steers (Catherine Parr), with Zara MacIntosh (Alternate Catherine of Aragon and Katherine Howard), Cherelle Jay (Alternate Anne Boleyn and Anna of Cleves), Hana Stewart (Alternate Jane Seymour and Catherine Parr), Collette Guitart (Dance Captain/Understudy).

THE PRINCE OF EGYPT has released a music video featuring the brand-new love song by GRAMMY® and Academy® Award-winner Stephen Schwartz, Never in a Million Years, performed by Luke Brady and Christine Allado, who play Moses and Tzipporah respectively.

The play portrays the career of actress Lyson Gaster, stage name of Augustine Belber Pastor, Spanish created in Piracicaba, who with his revue theater company traveled Brazil in the 1920s, 30s and 40s to great success. The show stays until December 15 at Teatro Alfredo Mesquita, then continues season from January 18 to February 15 at the Teatro Italia.

THE PRINCE OF EGYPT has released the first costume sketches by the Tony Award®-winning Broadway designer Ann Hould-Ward. The new stage musical, with music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Godspell), a book by Philip LaZebnik (Mulan, Pocahontas) and based on the celebrated DreamWorks Animation film, features a stunning collection of over 380 costumes and 250 pairs of shoes and begins performances at London's Dominion Theatre on Wednesday 5 February 2020.

This musical spin on the beloved classic Russian fairy tale celebrates the beauty within each of us and receives a contemporary twist by local creative team Joseph McDonough (playwright) and David Kisor (composer and lyricist). This year's production is the first time it will have appeared on the ETC stage in twelve years. The Segal Centre is proud to continue its mission of developing and premiering new musical theatre works with top Canadian talent with a new pop/rock musical about the Greek goddess Persephone. Directed by Brian Hill and featuring a high-energy score filled with epic anthems by Marcus Stevens and Oran Eldor, the North American premiere of Mythic will be in the Sylvan Adams Theatre from October 27 to November 17, 2019.
