HBO Max has acquired U.S. rights to Impact Partners' and Jane Doe Films' widely acclaimed On The Record following the film's premiere at this year's Sundance Film Festival, marking the streamers first festival acquisition. The film received high praise from critics across the board, enjoyed three standing ovations following its premiere screening, and has been lauded by The Hollywood Reporter, Variety, and multiple outlets as one of the top films coming out of this year's festival.
Just Us: Our Original Stories of Life, Love and Loss will take place on the John Glenn HS Stage in Norwalk, CA on Friday February 14, 2020 at 7pm. This show is a collection of student created artwork, dances, musical compositions, poetry, songs, monologues and scenes. From bullying to finding love, from near death experiences to rejection, this show has it all. This show forces the audience to question the existential philosophy, who am I? What experiences have shaped my point of view on life at time?
THE PRINCE OF EGYPT, the new musical with music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Godspell), a book by Philip LaZebnik (Mulan, Pocahontas) and based on the celebrated DreamWorks Animation film, has announced its children's casting with the roles of Young Miriam, Leah and Young Hebrew Girl being shared by Mia Lakha, Iman Pabani and Hannah Selk and the roles of Young Aaron, Young Egyptian Boy and Young Midian Boy being shared by Leo Babet, Jonah Collier and Taylor Jenkins.

The Acting Company is proud to announce JULIUS CAESAR and ROMEO & JULIET, two touring productions visiting New York City schools across the five boroughs in January 2020. In an expansion of the Company's five-decade relationship with the Juilliard Drama Division, the school touring productions will for the first time feature casts of current Juilliard acting students.
Women of Color on Broadway, a non-profit dedicated to supporting women of African, Latin, and Asian descent pursuing careers in musical theater, will present its Purple Crystal Honorary Awards in The Cooper Union's Great Hall on February 10, 2020. This year's honorees are Tony-award winners LaChanze and Melba Moore. The award celebrates the heroines of African, Latin, and Asian descent who paved the way for the next generation of women of color in theater.

La Jolla Playhouse has announced the complete cast and creative team for its upcoming musical Fly, based on the J.M. Barrie novel Peter and Wendy, with book by Pulitzer Prize finalist Rajiv Joseph (Playhouse's Guards at the Taj, Broadway's Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo); music by Tony, Emmy and Grammy Award winner Bill Sherman (music director for Sesame Street; orchestrator for In the Heights); lyrics by Obie Award winner Kirsten Childs (The Bubbly Black Girl Sheds Her Chameleon Skin) and Rajiv Joseph, direction by multiple Tony Award-winning producer Jeffrey Seller (Hamilton, Rent, Avenue Q, In the Heights), and co-choreographed by three-time Tony Award winner Andy Blankenbuehler (Hamilton, Bandstand) and Stephanie Klemons (In the Heights). Fly will run February 18 - March 29 in the Mandell Weiss Theatre.

We seek to recognize and award the best singers from around the world who are currently enrolled in or a recent graduated of an undergraduate or graduate program in voice. There will be a First, Second, and Third Place prize awarded. The winners will be selected based on talent, potential, and overall presentation. All voice types will be judged equally.
