On Wednesday, October 21, ALL ARTS will premiere Women of Color on Broadway as part of its House Seats series. With theater doors remaining closed for months to come, this new House Seats concert special features songs from popular Broadway musicals, including “Hamilton,” “The Wiz,” “The Band’s Visit,” “Once On This Island,” and many more.

North Carolina Theatre has announced casting for its upcoming production of Memphis, playing March 24-29, 2020 at the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Raleigh. North Carolina Theatre's production will be directed and choreographed by Broadway performer Robert Hartwell, and Eric Woodall is NC Theatre's producing artistic director.

Women of Color on Broadway, a non-profit dedicated to supporting women of African, Latin, and Asian descent pursuing careers in musical theater, will present its Purple Crystal Honorary Awards in The Cooper Union's Great Hall on February 10, 2020. This year's honorees are Tony-award winners LaChanze and Melba Moore. The award celebrates the heroines of African, Latin, and Asian descent who paved the way for the next generation of women of color in theater.

Casting has just been announced for the Equity Lab of the new musical, MEDUSA, led by Kate Shindle and Heidi Blickenstaff

Beyoncé, who has sold over 100 million records worldwide, will be celebrated in story and song at Feinstein's/54 Below on Sunday, August 25th, 2019, at 7:00pm and 9:30pm in a concert directed by Robert W. Schneider and co-produced by Mr. Schneider and Benjamin Nissen.

Midnight Theatricals celebrates opening night of for WE ARE THE TIGERS, the original pop/rock musical and teen horror comedy written & composed by Preston Max Allen and produced by S. Asher Gelman, that will made its New York Premiere Off-Broadway at Theater 80 (80 St. Mark's Place). Michael Bello directs the pitch-black comedy about a dismally low-ranking team of cheerleaders trying to survive the night while being terrorized by a serial killer.
