 As Pennsylvania loosened its Covid-19 mask mandate and other restrictions, and the CDC revised its guidelines, Bucks County Playhouse has announced a measured approach in the short term for the reopening of the theater as it continues to welcome back audiences.  

Thursday, May 20th 2021 marked Broadway and cabaret powerhouse Karen Mason's return to the stage to perform in front of a live audience in her new show, Vaccinatin' Rhythm - directed by Barry Kleinbort.

On Saturday, May 1 Bucks County Playhouse will herald the arrival of spring with the unveiling of upgrades to its New Hope riverfront campus and a free “Boat Concert” at noon on the Delaware. Alexander Fraser invited the community to visit the Playhouse for the festivities, which includes the 12 Noon boat concert by singer Andrew Polec.

Bucks County Playhouse audiences will have the opportunity to experience intimate concerts by stars of New York City's Broadway and Cabaret scene when Bucks County Playhouse presents a new Broadway Spotlight Concert Series. The series is curated by Jim Caruso.

Aligning with the predictions that 2021 will produce a new, post-quarantine “summer of love,” Candace Bushnell, the critically acclaimed, international best-selling author and creator of SEX AND THE CITY, will bring her saucy humor and spot-on insights into life, love and relationships to Pennsylvania's Bucks County Playhouse with her all-new show, “Is There Still Sex in the City?”

Bucks County Playhouse will celebrate the arrival of spring with the return of live music and the launch of a Spring Music Series for the months of April and May. The marquee event of the series is the Playhouse debut of the legendary jazz artist, Wynton Marsalis with the Jazz at Lincoln Center Septet.

Children, teens and adults are invited to explore new skills and tap into hidden (and not so hidden) talents through Bucks County Playhouse's Virtual Education Programs. Some of the classes being offered in the upcoming Winter 2021 Season include Acting for Adults, Broadway Dance Workshops: Hamilton Series, Yes, And... Improv, Acting Foundations and Monologue Prep for Teens and more.

The Deck Restaurant and Bar at Bucks County Playhouse is announcing “Chef's Table To Go” with an option for delivery, just in time for New Year's Eve.

Bucks County Playhouse kicks off the holiday season with an all new, family-friendly Christmas show that is a nostalgic journey to celebrations of Christmas past. “The Playhouse Merry Little Christmas Concert”  is a delightful, hour-long concert featuring a cast of four, singing and dancing up a holiday storm accompanied by a live on-stage band.
