Charlie Stemp and Carly Anderson will lead the cast of Susan Stroman’s new production of the musical comedy CRAZY FOR YOU™, with music & lyrics by George Gershwin and Ira Gershwin, and book by Ken Ludwig, running at Chichester Festival Theatre from 11 July – 4 September. 

Eleanor (Meaghan Martin) is the daughter of Allison (Flora Montgomery) and Nadine (Amanda Bright). Conceived by Allison on a night-one-stand before meeting her future life partner, the gifted college girl drives back home with her boyfriend Rob to find out who her real father is. With the help of Rob’s private investigator friend, they track down the potential match and briefly destroy their family balance.

NEVER NOT ONCE, by the award-winning American playwright Carey Crim, is a poignant and emotionally gripping new drama about what happens when a family is forced to confront an unexpected and explosive answer to the question “Where do I come from?”.

The sold-out BONNIE & CLYDE THE MUSICAL IN CONCERT starring Jeremy Jordan alongside rising West End star Frances Mayli McCann will be filmed at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane during its performances on Monday 17 and Tuesday 18 January 2022.

The full cast joining Broadway star Jeremy Jordan in the sell-out BONNIE AND CLYDE IN CONCERT has been announced. The concert will take place at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane on Monday 17 and Tuesday 18 January 2022.

The production is led by Gina Beck (Matilda, Show Boat, Wicked, Phantom of the Opera) as Nellie*, Julian Ovenden (Bridgerton, Downton Abbey, Merrily We Roll Along, Grand Hotel, BBC Proms) as Emile, Joanna Ampil (Cats, Les Misérables, Miss Saigon) as Bloody Mary, Keir Charles (Quiz, Back To Life) as Luther Billis and Rob Houchen (Les Misérables, The Light in the Piazza) as Cable. 

Following the news that Gina Beck is pregnant, Chichester Festival Theatre has announced that in the forthcoming production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's South Pacific, she will rehearse and open the role of Nellie Forbush as planned with performances from 5 July and a press night on 13 July. From 5 August, Alex Young will share the role of Nellie and take over full-time from 23 August for the remainder of the run.
