Broadway Rewind continues in Shubert Alley for the Annual BC/EFA Broadway Flea Market, then to the opening night of Richard Greenberg's play A Naked Girl on the Appian Way which starred Richard Thomas, Jill Clayburgh and Matthew Morrison. 'Matthew told me what it was like doing the musical 'A Light in the Piazza', having to leave them and not have to sing in this play.' says Richard Ridge.
As we head out of the winter season and into spring, there is one thing we know is coming, rain. This last weekend Des Moines Playhouse opened their production of 'Singin' In The Rain.' As their production opened this weekend, there was a giant storm cloud in the distance called COVID-19 that caused the remaining performances of this production to be postponed. As I write this review, I hope it becomes a preview of an upcoming production.
Chichester Festival Theatre's Olivier Award-nominated production of Singin' in the Rain will embark on a major UK and Ireland tour in 2021, following a strictly limited five-week season at Sadler's Wells this Summer.
