Disney Theatrical Productions is pleased to announce DREW SEELEY, star of 'Another Cinderella Story,' as Prince Eric in THE LITTLE MERMAID. Seeley will appear in the show Tuesday, June 9 though Sunday, August 30 at the Lunt-Fontanne Theater (205 West 46th Street).

West Virginia Public Theatre's Founder and Executive Director Ron Iannone has announced the lineup for the 2009 summer season, which runs June 23 through August 9, 2009. WVPT will be celebrating its 25th anniversary season and has, once again, lined up another summer filled with Broadway's best productions.

Ryan Weible directs the Willows Theatre production, with choreography by Gia Solari-Welch, and music direction by Tim Hanson. Ryan Drummond stars as the wedding singer, Robbie Hart, with Sarah Aili as his gal Julia. The Willows production runs May 11 ? June 14 at the Willows mainstage, 1975 Diamond Boulevard in Concord.

After 12 years of SRO performances in theatrical venues on five continents, actor/writer/composer David Sanborn will bring his acclaimed stage musical King David (www.kingdavidmusical.com) to New York theater audiences on April 9 for a limited engagement through June 27 at the Promise Theater, 316 East 91st Street, in Manhattan.

Variety is reporting that 'About a Boy' director Paul Weitz is in talks to direct 'Little Fockers', the third instalment of the 'Meet the Parents' franchise. 'Get Smart' helmer Pete Segal was in talks to direct 'Little Fockers' but it now looks as if Weitz is the front runner.

FOX News is reporting that the principal cast of 'Little Fockers', the sequel to 'Meet the Fockers' has been set for an early July start date.

Variety reports Pete Segal, the director of the hit comedy, Get Smart is the frontrunner to direct Little Fockers, the third installment in the Universal Pictures/Tribeca Prods. franchise. The trade paper reports that Segal's schedule has opened up as plans to make Get Smart 2 have been put on hold as Steve Carell has signed on to star in Date Night with Tina Fey for Fox.

Celebrities from the Broadway, film, music and TV worlds have been posing for photos with elephants for a charity project called the Elephant Project to benefit the Alzheimer?s Association. The Elephant Project?s goal is to raise funds and awareness for the Alzheimer?s Association through celebrity participation. The elephant is the symbol of the project as ?elephants never forget.? Stars, such as Julie Andrews, Jennifer Garner, Adam Sandler, Idina Menzel, Kristin Chenoweth, Sarah Silverman, and Shirley MacLaine have been posing with an elephant beanie baby and signing special Elephant Project cards in order to create items for auctions. Rounds of auctions are held every few months, with each celebrity package consisting of an 8x10 photo of the celebrity and an elephant, an autographed card, and an elephant beanie baby.
