More than £3500 was raised for theatrical charity Acting for Others in the first Big West End Walk which took place on Sunday 10 September.

Joining the company from 25 September 2023 will be Luke Kempner as Thénardier, Katie Hall as Fantine, Will Callan as Marius, Amena El-Kindy as Eponine and Djavan van de Fliert as Enjolras. They join Josh Piterman as Jean Valjean, Stewart Clarke as Javert, Claire Machin as Madame Thénardier and Lulu-Mae Pears as Cosette.

Jonny Phillips and West End Charity Football Club have announced The Big West End Walk a one-off fundraising event for Acting for Others to be held on 10 September.

Treason the Musical will ignite this year with an album, recorded from last year's Theatre Royal Drury Lane concert, and finish with a 'bang' in October with the global premiere of the fully staged production of Treason.

A fundraising campaign has been launched to raise money for performer Adam Pearce, who suffered a stroke after coming off stage in December.

Casting has been announced for Guys & Dolls, coming to the Bridge Theatre in March 2023.

The world premiere musical Mandela has released all new photos and video from the rehearsal room, featuring a first glimpse and early listen of the soaring new musical ahead of its opening at the Young Vic Theatre.

Treason is the explosive new musical about the gunpowder plot featuring stunning music by Ricky Allan, and book and lyrics by Ricky Allan and Kieran Lynn.The musical had its live stage debut at Theatre Royal Drury Lane on 22 August, and added an additional performance on 23 August due to popular demand. The Young Vic today announces the cast and creative team for the world premiere of Mandela, a new musical that tells the story of Mandela the man and the movement behind him.

The Prince of Egypt has this week been filmed live at London's Dominion Theatre by Universal Pictures Content Group. Plans for its broadcast will be released at a later date. The live capture of Scott Schwartz's production is directed by Brett Sullivan and produced by Dione Orrom.

The video features cast members Liam Tamne, Adam Pearce, Soophia Foroughi, Natalie Green, Jessica Lee and Christopher Short with the team from The Show Shanties who delighted musical theatre fans by producing video collaborations with musicals such as Hamilton over lockdown!

The Prince of Egypt has released all new production photos, featuring Oliver Lidert, who stars as ‘Jethro’ from tonight (Monday 18 October 2021), and Nardia Ruth who is now playing ‘Nefertari’.  

THE PRINCE OF EGYPT, based on the classic DreamWorks Animation film, will play its final performance at London’s Dominion Theatre on Saturday 8 January 2022, the end of its booking period. Extra shows have been added on 20, 21 and 28 December 2021 at 2.30pm.

Nardia Ruth will join the production as Nefertari from Friday 17 September 2021. Nardia is a 2021 graduate of London’s Royal Academy of Music and a Disney Theatrical Productions Scholar and an Ian Fleming Musical Theatre Award recipient. The role of Nefertari in The Prince of Egypt will mark Nardia’s professional and West End debut. 

The Prince of Egypt has once again been forced to cancel upcoming performances due to Government-enforced COVID-19 legislation. Performances through 7 August have been cancelled at this time.

Following the current temporary suspension of performances due to Government Track and Trace legislation, the production will play three socially distanced performances on Wednesday 21 July at 7.30pm and Thursday 22 July at 2.30pm and 7.30pm before gradually reverting to full capacity.
