PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL, with original music and lyrics by Grammy Award winner Bryan Adams and his longtime songwriting partner Jim Vallance, a book by Garry Marshall and the film's screenwriter J.F. Lawton, and direction and choreography by two-time Tony Award winner Jerry Mitchell, opened just last night, Thursday, August 16, 2018, at Broadway's Nederlander Theatre.

Belmont Avenue is leaving the Great White Way. A Bronx Tale will play its final performance on Broadway today, August 5, 2018. The show will have played 29 previews and 700 regular performances at the Longacre Theatre (220 West 48th Street). The show began previews Thursday, November 3, 2016 and opened Thursday, December 1, 2016.

It has been announced that A BRONX TALE, the musical featuring a book by Academy Award nominee Chazz Palminteri, music by Oscar, Grammy, and Tony Award winner Alan Menken, and lyrics by Grammy Award winner and Oscar and Tony Award nominee Glenn Slater, directed by two-time Oscar winner Robert De Niro and four-time Tony Award winner Jerry Zaks, with choreography by Tony nominee Sergio Trujillo, will close on Broadway Sunday, August 5, 2018.

Usdan Summer Camp for the Arts, the critically acclaimed summer day camp for the arts celebrating its 50th anniversary in summer 2018, today welcomed back campers ages 4 through 12. Nearly 1600 campers -one of whom is Brianna Perez, the star of the Oscar nominated film, Joe's Violin-stepped off the bus and into studios, with classes in everything from theater to studio art; photography and music to Quidditch and swim. This year's students are now part of the Usdan family, which boasts over 40,000 alumni, including many top names in entertainment and theater such as Mariah Carey, Natalie Portman, Jane Monheit, Seth Rudetsky. Last night, sixteen Broadway stars were featured in Broadway Sings Kelly Clarkson, the latest concert in the Broadway Sings concert series. The tribute concerts take the music of well-known music icons and create new, unique arrangements and orchestrations by twisting the style to fit the strength of the performer. Previous fifteen concerts have included Adele, Stevie Wonder, Justin Timberlake, and Rihanna. On August 20, the series will continue with Broadway Sings Alanis Morissette.
Audience Member Disrupts Performance of A BRONX TALE With Pro-Trump Sign

A Trump supporter disrupted a performance of A Bronx Tale on Saturday by standing up during curtain call and holding up a 'Keep America Great' flag, according to the New York Post. The action seemed to be in direct response to Robert De Niro, the musical's director, who repeated 'F---k Trump' on the Tony Awards last weekend.
