On Thursday, March 27th the musical Gypsy opened at the St. James Theater. The after party was held ad the NYC club 'The Mansion' Gypsy tells the dramatic musical tale of the legendary stage mother of Gypsy Lee Rose and June Havoc, a woman who drove her two daughters into show business with a misguided and terrifiying passion. The classic musical is a journey that travels from the slowly fading vaudeville venues of yesterday to backstages of it's often unseemly replacement the strip-tease house.
