Pioneer Theatre Company, Utah’s premiere professional theatre, will present A Christmas Story, The Musical—the Tony-nominated musical adaptation based on the 1983 film. The 2012 work was adapted for the stage by Joseph Robinette, with music and lyrics by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul.

The film will feature the return of Peter Billingsley as Ralphie. Also returning will be Zack Ward, playing bully Scut Farkus who is now a police officer, R.D. Robb and Scott Schwartz, who played out the scene of Schwartz's tongue being stuck to a frozen pole, and Ian Petrella, who played Ralphie's younger brother. Watch the new video trailer now!

The Marriott Theatre, 10 Marriott Dr. Lincolnshire, closes their 2022 season with A Christmas Story, The Musical, previewing Wednesday, November 2, opening November 9 at 7:30pm and closing January 1, 2023.

Director DeLayne Bluth Dayton has wanted to direct “A Christmas Story: the Musical” for a long time, but the show was never available. The rights were consistently snagged by touring companies.

Everyone's favorite characters from Cleveland Street are back for their 11th production with Cleveland Play House (CPH) during the 2018 holiday season. A Christmas Story will once again delight Cleveland audiences with the story you know and love, based on the original motion picture that was filmed in Cleveland. CPH's production of A Christmas Story has quickly become an annual holiday tradition for families of all generations. This festive production is presented by M&M Stage Productions Fridays, Nov. 16 and 30 at 8 p.m.; Saturdays, Nov. 17, 24 and Dec. 1 at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.; and Sundays, Nov. 18, 25 and Dec. 2 at 2 p.m.
