Scott Spence BIO

Scott Spence,is the Artistic Director of The Beck Center in Lakewood, Ohio---- a near west suburb of Cleveland. Since his appointment in 1992 he has directed over 75 productions and produced nearly 200 titles. He is also currently on the faculty of Cleveland State University and teaches courses in the Directing track. He has also been an adjunct at Baldwin Wallace University. Favorite projects have included SWEENEY TODD, BLOODY BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON, REEFER MADNESS, EATING RAOUL, A MAN OF NO IMPORTANCE, THE FARNSWORTH INVENTION, URINETOWN, and ALTAR BOYZ, which also transferred to Playhouse Square's Hanna Theatre in 2011.
