Born in Schenectady, NY and raised in Southern California Jesse received his BA in Musical Theatre from the California State University, Fullerton. He made his professional debut at the critically acclaimed Laguna Moulton Playhouse as The Artful Dodger in Oliver! During his time in California Jesse continued to work in numerous regional theatre as well as The Happiest Place on Earth, Disneyland, working along such Broadway alumni as Eden Espinosa and Stephanie J. Block. Prior to his move to NYC, Jesse toured throughout Europe as Eugene/Dance Captain with Grease das Musical, covered Zach in A Chorus Line, and was Action in West Side Story. For almost two decades Jesse has been residing in NYC where he has had the privilege to travel the world and work alongside some of the top people in his industry including Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber, Sir Cameron Mackintosh, Sir Matthew Bourne, Sir Trevor Nunn, Tony and Emmy Award Winner Leslie Uggams, Tony Award Andy Blankenbeuhler, Tony Award Winner George Faison, Tony Nominated Lara Teeter, Tony Nominated Michael Butler, and Tony Nominated Joey McKneely. His Broadway credits include covering and playing the role of Bert in Mary Poppins and as an Original Cast member of School of Rock the Musical. Recently Jesse was seen as Lumiere in Beauty and the Beast at The Sharon Playhouse and George the boxing coach understudy Dad in Billy Elliot at The Goodspeed Opera House. Jesse was also part of Drew Gasparini's Pre-Broadway industry reading of The Karate Kid Musical as Mr. Cotterri/Ali's Dad. Unbeknownst to some Jesse had aspirations of becoming a Paleontologist (a hobby he still enjoys to this day), mostly in part because it gave him an excuse to play with Dinosaurs and in the dirt. He is also the proud dad of a rescue dog, and encourages everyone to open their homes to a four-legged friend.
