ABOUT VIN MORREALE, JR:Vin Morreale, Jr. is an internationally-produced playwright, published author and award-winning screenwriter. He has written a wide variety of stage plays and musicals, with more than two dozen currently in print. A recipient of the prestigious Al Smith Playwriting Fellowship, he has won or placed in nearly forty national writing contests, while his screenplays, stage plays and radio comedy have received over a thousand productions around the world, and have been translated into Italian, Russian and Spanish.Vin was a founding member of the San Francisco Playwrights’ Center and the Senseless Bickering Comedy Theatre. His nationally known BURNING UP THE STAGE acting workshops challenge students with new works every class. Out of these workshops, he created four collections of original material: BURNING UP THE STAGE: Monologues, Short Scenes & Audition Pieces for Actors From Six ToSeventy; TWO CHARACTER CHAOS; 300 MONOLOGUES and 150 ACTING SCENES.Vin has sold material to both network and cable TV, won a Telly Award for his performance documentary entitled, The Louisville Ballet’s “Cinderella” and his work has been seen on screen, stage or print in more than 16 countries.He was twice listed among the INTERNATIONAL SCREENWRITERS ASSOCIATION’S TOP 25 WRITERS and was recently inducted into the KENTUCKY FILM AND TELEVISION HALL OF FAME.His most recent stage plays include the romantic comedy THE KISS ME CURSE, along with the zany musical A DAY AT THE WHITE HOUSE: The Sparx Brothers Go To Washington, with music by Eric B.
