In a galaxy far, far away (Hell’s Kitchen’s newly renovated AMT Theater to be exact) A Musical About Star: Or, Why Star Wars is the Greatest Thing to Ever Happen in the History of the Galaxy Much, Much Better Than Star Trek!, celebrated its triumphant return after being shut down due to the pandemic.
Tom D'Angora and Michael D'Angora's Off-Broadway hit A Musical About Star Wars began performances at The V Theatre on November 19th, located at The Miracle Mile Shops in Planet Hollywood.
Off-Broadway's hilariously irreverent musical comedy; A Musical About Star Wars, which was forced to close in 2020, is excited to announce they are returning for a strictly-limited two week engagement at The American Theatre of Actors. With performances beginning Friday, Dec 17th the musical comedy celebrates the blockbuster film franchise, nerd culture, cosplay, and comic-con in a show-within-a-show that is a little meta and hella rad.
Since 1978, West Bank Cafe has been one of the epicenters of New York City’s theatre community, and due to the pandemic, it is on the verge of permanently closing. With Broadway dark, tourism down, indoor dining closed, and no relief plan in sight, 2020 has created a plethora of financial problems for the beloved theater district institution.

Six weeks of enthusiastic fundraising erupted into two extraordinary performances of lighthearted parodies, inspiring calls-to-action and exceptional dance at this year's Red Bucket Follies. The show, which was performed December 9 and 10, 2019, celebrated the 58 Broadway, Off-Broadway and national touring companies that participated in fall fundraising for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

New Yorkers and visitors to the Big Apple are invited to come at 11 a.m. every Thursday, beginning July 11 through August 15, with performances running from 12:30 p.m. EST - 1:30 p.m. EST on the Bryant Park Stage.
