According to various reports, the musical television series Up Here has been canceled by Hulu after one season. The series, from Steven Levenson ('tick, tick...BOOM!'), Thomas Kail ('Hamilton'), Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez ('Frozen'), premiered on Friday, March 24 with all eight episodes.

Opening its 8th Season, 29th Street Playwrights Collective New Works Series presents ZOE COMES HOME, a dark comedy about depression, backyard “art,” and one errant pooch, written by Melissa Bell and directed by Laurie A. Guzda, for one performance on Saturday, May 20, at 7pm at the Bernie Wohl Theatre.       

Up Here features an impressive lineup of Broadway stars, including Andréa Burns, Katie Finneran, Norm Lewis, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Aisha Jackson, Micaela Diamond, and more, performing new songs by EGOT winning songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez (“Frozen, “Coco,“ “WandaVision,” “Book of Mormon”). ZOE COMES HOME, a dark comedy about depression, backyard junk, art, and one errant pooch, written by Melissa Bell and directed by Laurie A. Guzda, will have a premiere production at the Tusten Theatre in Narrowsburg, NY, on Friday, October 7, and Saturday, October 8, at 7pm.

An initial batch of episodes will also be rolled out on Disney+ and on-demand platforms this fall. In anticipation of the new season, which features a 'Glow Webs Glow' storyline, a collection of 10 animated shorts introducing our trio of young Super Heroes — Peter Parker, Gwen Stacy and Miles Morales — to new friends and baddies.

John Hodgman, Sophia Hammons, Emilia Suárez, George Hampe, Julia McDermott, Scott Porter, and Ayumi Patterson will also join the previously announced Carlos Valdes (Miguel) and Mae Whitman (Lindsay). 

In honor and celebration of Nick's memory, over 150 of his friends, colleagues, and family from all over the world came together to sing the song that will keep Nick in our hearts forever 'One of the Great Ones' from A Bronx Tale.
