BIO

Sam is a New York City-based actor, originally from Charlotte, North Carolina. He recently made his Broadway debut in the revival of GYPSY starring Audra McDonald.

At age fifteen, Sam got his Equity card playing Billy in BILLY ELLIOT at Ogunquit Playhouse, a role he went on to reprise at the North Carolina Theatre. During the fall of his senior year of high school, Sam made his TV debut, appearing as I.Q. in NBC's HAIRSPRAY LIVE! under the direction of Kenny Leon and Jerry Mitchell.

Sam went on to attend the University of Michigan, where he received a BFA in Musical Theatre. Upon graduating, Sam made his NYC debut dancing with The Verdon Fosse Legacy at New York City Center's Fall For Dance Festival.

Onstage, Sam has been seen at American Repertory Theatre, Broadway at Music Circus, and NC Theatre. Other dance appearances include Fire Island Dance Festival, Hudson Valley Dance Festival, and The Met Gala. He also can be seen in Season 3 of MAX's The Other Two.

This summer, Sam made his Broadway debut in GYPSY starring Audra McDonald. You can catch the production through August 17.

Next up, Sam will appear at Asbury Dance Festival on August 23, once again with The Verdon Fosse Legacy.
