Summer Stock Austin has revealed the casts for its 2023 Summer season.

54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Black Writers Showcase: Volume 2 on May 14, 2023 at 7:00pm, streaming LIVE and in person. This showcase is part of the Make Them Hear You series produced by Pier Lamia Porter. Black Writers Showcase features up and coming writers as well as well-established writers who will be sharing their writing process, premiering new pieces and sharing older works as well.

Summer Stock Austin has announced casting for How to Musical Theatre, an original movie musical from the Emmy-Award winning duo Allen Robertson and Damon Brown to close out the 2022 Summer season.

The Coterie Theatres' world premiere of a new family musical, ALICE’S WONDERLAND runs at The Coterie Theatre at Crown Center through August 7. Adapted from the Lewis Carroll classic story the musical features an original score with book, music, and lyrics by J. Quinton Johnson and Julia Riew. Brianna Woods directs, with musical direction by Delano Mendoza, and choreography by Marc Wayne.

Directed by Meir with a script by Jewish-Ukrainian writer Yuri Baranovsky, THE SUMMONED's powerful cast features J. Quinton Johnson (Hamilton on Broadway, AMC's The Son), Emma Fitzpatrick (THE SOCIAL NETWORK), Salvador Chacon (FX's Mayans M.C.), Angela Gulner (Netflix's GLOW), and Freddy Douglas (Hallmark's The Odyssey).

Summer Stock Austin has announced casting for Lin Manuel Miranda’s Tony Award winning Broadway musical, In the Heights and the Regional Premiere of Alice’s Wonderland by Hamilton alumni J. Quinton Johnson and Julia Riew as part of the 2022 Summer season.

This summer, The Coterie will produce the world premiere of the new family musical, Alice’s Wonderland, adapted from Lewis Carroll’s classic story and featuring an original score with book, music and lyrics by J. Quinton Johnson and Julia Riew -- based on a treatment by Linda Chichester and David Coffman.
