Duluth Playhouse will invite the community to a season reveal party at the NorShor Theatre on Wednesday, March 27. For its 110th anniversary, the organization has announced that it will be producing a collection of plays and musicals never before seen in the Main Stage and Underground seasons.

Having called the Depot home since 1977, Duluth Playhouse has announced the Duluth Playhouse Youth Theatre and School of Performing Arts will be relocating to the NorShor Theatre facility located at 211 East Superior Street in Duluth after this Sunday's 2PM performance of Disney's High School Musical.

Duluth Playhouse will kick into high gear with opening night of the musical Footloose June 24th. Footloose runs June 24 through July 17 at the NorShor Theatre.

The Duluth Playhouse has announced their new roster of incredible entertainment for the 2022-23 season. After grappling with disruptions brought on by the coronavirus pandemic, The Playhouse is offering top notch shows presented in the HART District.

This summer, Duluth Playhouse presents the award-winning hit Broadway musical XANADU, skating into the NorShor Theatre on July 15th and running through August 1st. This zany satire, based on the 1980 cult film starring Olivia Newton-John, features all the chart-topping songs from the film's soundtrack including “Magic,” “I'm Alive,” and 'Xanadu.'

The Duluth Playhouse Board of Directors announces that Wes Drummond has been hired as Executive Director, effective May 11, 2021. He joins Phillip Fazio, who was recently hired as Producing Artistic Director.
