West Australian Opera presents Puccini’s Tosca in a striking production new to Perth from 14 – 23 July at His Majesty’s Theatre. An operatic thriller fuelled by revolution and romance, Tosca poses the question: what would you sacrifice for love?

In order to successfully complete the film, Mr. Realbuto had to lose over 100 pounds while filming as stated in his contract. After losing 154 pounds, he broke the world record for most weight lost for a movie role in cinema history. The record was most recently held by Christian Bale, who reportedly lost 63 pounds for 2004’s ‘The Machinist.’

Following last week's announcement by Opera Australia that its November 2020 season of Wagner's Ring Cycle and Verdi's Aida would be postponed due to COVID-19, new dates have been confirmed for the epic opera season to open in Brisbane from 29 October to 20 November 2021.

The work follows the story of Tosca, a famous singer who is madly in love with the artist Cavardossi but Scarpia, the Chief of Police shows no remorse in his intent to destroy their love. Like many woman at that time, Tosca's character struggles to be heard in a merciless, man's world. But, unlike most female heroines from that period, she fights for her right to be heard, refusing to submit to a corrupt political system that only seeks to exploit her and her body. YES, the new motion picture starring Modern Family's Nolan Gould and New York stage actor Tim Realbuto, will make it's world premiere on Saturday June 22nd at Grauman's Chinese Theatre in the heart of Hollywood. The movie, directed by Rob Margolies, will screen at 9:30 PM at the famed venue as part of the 22nd annual Dances With Films Festival. 

Composer Elliott Gyger reunites with librettist Pierce Wilcox for Carriageworks resident company Sydney Chamber Opera to transform Peter Carey's beloved novel Oscar and Lucinda into a new Australian opera from 27 July - 3 August 2019. Directed by Opera Queensland Artistic Director and CEO Patrick Nolan, the work reimagines the love story between the orphaned proto-feminist industrialist and the man who believes he is touched by God. Having nothing in common, except their addiction to gambling, Oscar and Lucinda find each other in colonial-era Sydney with a wild dream: to build a cathedral of pure glass, and to walk it into the Australian outback.

The opera returns to the Western Downs on Saturday 27 July with Opera at Jimbour melding high art together with fine wine, fresh food and a regional Queensland spirit of fun.

Tim Realbuto, the New York stage actor who recently wrapped principal photography playing the lead role of Patrick Nolan in YES, his first major motion picture, will conceive, co-direct and produce a revival of Neil Simon's Tony and Pulitzer Prize Award winning play LOST IN YONKERS on Sunday, December 9th at 7:30 pm.

Tim Realbuto, who wrote and stars as Patrick Nolan in the upcoming motion picture YES, based on his stage play of the same name, will guest star on MNN's THE GINGER NEW YORK SHOW to promote the film on television for the very first time.

Another "MODERN FAMILY" alum has joined the cast of the new motion picture YES, based on Tim Realbuto's hit play. Colin Hanlon, who recurs on the ABC comedy as Steven (of Steven and Stepan), will play Richard Caden, the main character's brother-in-law who is married to Annie (Jenna Leigh Green). He joins previously announced Nolan Gould, who stars as Luke Dunphy on "MODERN FAMILY", Tim Realbuto, and Oscar Nunez ("THE OFFICE"), who are all part of the principal cast.

Jenna Leigh Green, who is most known for starring as everybody's favorite mean girl Libby Chessler on the hit sitcom 'Sabrina, the Teenage Witch', as well as her stage performances in WICKED and BARE, will play the female lead role of Annie Caden in the upcoming motion picture YES, based on Tim Realbuto's play.

Doug Plaut, most known for his work as Terry on the Emmy nominated Netflix series 'UNBREAKABLE KIMMY SCHMIDT', is the latest actor to be cast alongside 'MODERN FAMILY' star Nolan Gould and New York stage actor Tim Realbuto in the film version of YES, based on Realbuto's Off-Broadway play. 

Jenna Leigh Green, most known for starring as Libby Chessler on the hit TV comedy 'Sabrina, The Teenage Witch', as well as Broadway's WICKED, joins four-time SAG Award winning 'Modern Family' star Nolan Gould and Tim Realbuto as part of the principal cast of the new motion picture YES, based on Realbuto's critically acclaimed Off-Broadway play. Also joining the cast is Drew Logan Powell, who currently stars as Dash McKenna on the new Bryan Cranston Amazon series 'The Dangerous Book For Boys.' Powell will play Realbuto's character Patrick Nolan as a boy. Green will play Wendy, Patrick's mother, in flashbacks.
