Off-Broadway credits include Mrs. Fairfax in Jane Eyre (Theatre at St. Jean’s); Eurycleia in Twelve Maids (54 Below); and Diva/Executive in A Sketch of New York (Producers Club). In 2026, Michelle has played Mrs. Higgins/Mrs. Pearce in My Fair Lady (American Theater Group, NJ) and Jan-ma Randall in the premier of Feels Like The First Time, The Foreigner Musical (Tilles Center/LIU CW Post, NY); and will reprise the role of Genie Klein in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical this summer (Shenandoah Summer Theatre, VA). She was Ida in Titanic (Milwaukee Rep); Dee Dee Allen in The Prom (Media Theatre, PA); Ariel in Grumpy Old Men (Fireside Theatre, WI); and Mother Abbess in The Sound of Music (Black Rock Theatre, CT). Other favorite past regional performances include Nellie in South Pacific (Honolulu Opera Theatre and LOOK Theatre, OK); Marian in The Music Man (Maryland Live Arts) and Fiordiligi in Cosi fan Tutte (NYC). Film/TV work includes Thjodhild in Freydis and Gudrid (Amazon Prime), and Abbi’s mom on Hulu/ID’s Evil Lives Here. Michelle is co-writer of and plays the role of Pamela Hamilton-Ford in the operatic comedy, Divas Unleashed: The Benefit.

Singing a variety of genres on recordings, Michelle recently released an album of her husband Tom’s compositions for voice, string quartet and piano, titled Viewed from Above. She has performed and recorded concerts of jazz, oratorio, musical revues and gospel for television shows, commercials, studio recordings, fashion videos and movie underscoring, heard throughout the US, Europe, and Japan. A voice teacher and former school music teacher, Michelle has raised money for New York City Public Schools music programs and taught music classes to underserved children in the city. A mom of two grown children, Michelle lives in Manhattan with her husband, pianist-composer Dr. Tom Jennings.
