Kolton Stewart

Kolton Stewart began his entertainment career as a musician and percussionist, winning the Ontario All-Star Talent Show at age 5 with an original drum solo. In 2008, he won an international drumming award through the Percussive Arts Society and received the organization’s Larrie Londin Scholarship. He also competed internationally with pipe and drum bands and performed as a percussionist.

In 2010, Stewart performed at the Stratford Festival in productions including The Music Man, West Side Story and Macbeth. He subsequently joined the North American tour of Disney’s The Lion King as Young Simba, becoming the first Canadian child cast in the production.

Stewart began appearing in film and television following his theater work. His credits include the films I Declare War, Make Your Move and Isabelle Dances Into the Spotlight. He also appeared in Angels in the Snow and My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2. On television, he played Jarvis in the YTV series Some Assembly Required and appeared in The Next Step.

As a musician, Stewart has released original music and performed vocals, drums, guitar, bass and keyboards. He sang the opening theme, "Here We Go," for Some Assembly Required and has continued developing his songwriting and recording career.
