Welcome to Heartsville High and the magical musical Zanna Don't, where the captain of the chess team is a sex symbol, the quarterback is a nerd, and everyone is gay!-well, almost everyone. Following the success of last year's sold-out Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson at Theatre Horizon (401 DeKalb Street, Norristown, PA), Philadelphia and Broadway stars join together once again for a one-night-only concert reading, part of the company's 42nd and Main Concert Series. Actor and musician, David Rowen, recently launched a music YouTube channel, davidrowen/creative, which will showcase arrangements and renditions of various songs from the radio, Broadway, and beyond. Amid the prevailing social discord in our country, davidrowen/creative is aiming to promote peace and unity, and stir social change by producing a music video, featuring the beloved medley, 'Joyful, Joyful,' from the Whoopi Goldberg and Lauryn Hill film, Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit.
Theatre Horizon Announces Test of New Ticketing Initiative

Last Summer, Theatre Horizon began a new Summer Concert Series called 42nd and Main. Each year, Theatre Horizon brings together Philadelphia and Broadway stars for a one-night only concert reading. This year, the theatre brings audiences Alex Timbers' raucous musical about America's First Political Populist President, Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson. Thursday, August 4 at 7:30 p.m. Along with this extremely relevant musical, Theatre Horizon is introducing an innovative ticketing system for this event. With this event, Theatre Horizon will institute a test run of Pay What You Decide Ticketing. Tickets can be reserved online at www.theatrehorizon.org.
