On August 17, 2023, the public will get their first access to single event tickets for the Lied Center's 2023-2024 season featuring more than 30 events including top artists and ensembles from around the world in dance, classical music, jazz, musical theater, comedy, family, illusion, and more.  

The Spire Center for the Arts in Plymouth, MA announced four new shows including a Comedy Night featuring Boston native Tony V on Friday, October 6, singer-songwriter Beth Nielsen Chapman on Friday, November 17,  blues musician James Montgomery on Saturday, November 25, and the iconic Celtic group Cherish the Ladies: performing A Celtic Christmas on Friday, December 15.

The Original Mother’s, located at 26 W Division St, is celebrating its 55th anniversary with an epic dueling piano showdown, Dueling Decades, on Thursday, August 17 from 6 pm to 9 pm.

The Blues Brothers come to the Lied Center For the Performing Arts next month. The performance is set for Friday, September 22, 2023 at 7:30PM.

A return to its roots with live music at its pulse, Mother's dance floor— the oldest and largest on Division street— will be the place to gather and revel in live performances every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

Placer Repertory Theater has announced the cast for the Ghosts of Placer County mainstage world premiere, which performs the first two weekends of October in Roseville.

Standing in the Rocklin History Museum, reading a handout about a local ghost story and chatting with docents in late summer 2021 was the inspiration for T.S. Forsyth’s new play Ghosts of Placer County, featured at Placer Rep’s HAUNTING HISTORY show on June 29 at the Parkview Room in Rocklin’s Johnson-Springview Park.

The film also stars Halston Sage (“Paper Towns,” “Neighbors,” “Before I Fall,” “X-Men: Dark Phoenix,” “The Last Summer”), Andrew Richardson (“The Independent,” “Killer Among Us,” “A Call to Spy”) and Emmy Award nominee Aidan Quinn (“Practical Magic,”  “Legends of the Fall,” “Elementary,” “Law& Order: SVU,” “The American Guest”).

Veteran performer Anne Merino graces the stages at the Lincoln Civic Auditorium on June 23 and the Parkview Room on June 29 as the uniquely eccentric character Dr. Dessa Dagmar in Placer Repertory Theater's performances of Ghosts of Placer County, a new work being featured at the show Haunting History.
