Jeremy Handelman

Jeremy Handelman is a theater, video and livestream producer. His Broadway credits include The Kite Runner and Tony Award nominations for John Leguizamo’s Latin History for Morons and On the Town. He has served as Lead Producer or Executive Producer on a variety of Off Broadway productions including Brooklyn Crush (formerly F#%king Up Everything, a NY Times Critic’s Pick) and The Chekhov Dreams.

He has produced, managed and marketed many other New York productions including White's Lies at New World Stages (2010) starring Tuc Watkins, Peter Scolari, Betty Buckley and Christy Carlson Romano, earlier productions of F#%KING UP EVERYTHING (Washington, DC 2011; NYMF 2009), THE BRONX BALMERS, CYCLE: A VAUDEVILLE COMEDY, ASSHOLES & AUREOLES, THE ASPERN PAPERS, SCAPIN, FIVE BY TENN and FRITZ & FROYIM. He is the author of THE BRONX BALMERS and numerous short plays including TIC-TAC-TOE

Jeremy is the founder of Off The Leash Productions (OffTheLeashProductions.com), where he produces a wide range of marketing and entertainment video including performance shoots, commercials and promos. During the COVID lockdown, Jeremy made a very successful pivot to livestream production, serving as producer/director/tech director and/or video designer for several musicals as well as a wide variety of theater and non-theater clients such as the Irish Embassy, YWCA of NYC, Working Theater, Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center, Learning Spring School, and NY School of Interior Design.

Jeremy is the Board Chair of Houses on the Moon Theater Company and is a Board Member and former Co-President of the Brown University Club in New York. Past Lives: Vice President, Programming, CBS Sports; Vice President, Programming Sales, Wink Communications.
