Breaking News: THE TEMPEST with Sam Waterston & CYMBELINE Set for The Public's 2015 Shakespeare in the Park Season; Michael Greif, Daniel Sullivan to Direct!

The Public Theater announced the line-up today for the 2015 FREE Shakespeare in the Park season, continuing a 53-year tradition of free theater in Central Park. Since 1962, over five million people have enjoyed more than 150 free productions of Shakespeare and other classical works and musicals at the Delacorte Theater. Conceived by founder Joe Papp as a way to make great theater accessible to all, The Public's free Shakespeare in the Park continues to be the bedrock of the Company's mission to increase access and engage the community. This summer, free Shakespeare in the Park will feature Shakespeare's late romances with THE TEMPEST (May 27-July 5), directed by Tony Award nominee Michael Greif, and CYMBELINE (July 27-August 23), directed by Tony Award winner Daniel Sullivan.

Tickets Now Available for Lincoln Center's MIDSUMMER NIGHT SWING

Tickets go on sale today for Lincoln Center's 24th season of Midsummer Night Swing taking place Tuesdays through Saturdays, June 26-July 14. Swing's 15 dazzling nights of dancing, and one free daytime lesson for children, take place at the bandshell and elevated dance floor in Damrosch Park, on West 62nd Street between Columbus and Amsterdam Avenues. Midsummer Night Swing offers an array of dance music styles including salsa, swing, tango, rock 'n' roll, and bhangra. Because of the national holiday there will be no Swing on July 4th, so a special Monday night will be added on July 2nd.

Last night, May 2, The Town Hall, led by Marvin Leffler and Lawrence Zucker celebrated its 90th Anniversary with 'Town Hall at 90,' a benefit concert paying tribute to the rich cultural history of the institution from 1921 to the present day. The concert starred Tony Award winner Jason Robert Brown, Tony Award nominee Liz Callaway, Tony Award nominee and Drama Desk, Theatre world and Emmy Award winner Tovah Feldshuh, legendary Jazz guitarist and banjoist Bucky Pizzarelli and Tony Award nominee Emily Skinner. Dancers/choreographers Jeffry Denman ('White Christmas,' 'Yank!') and Noah Racey ('Curtains') danced together. Scott Siegel, creator/writer and host of The Town Hall's acclaimed Broadway By The Year series, has written and will host the evening. All proceeds will benefit The Town Hall's Educational Outreach program. BroadwayWorld was on hand for the event and brings you photo coverage below.

Roundabout Theatre Company (Artistic Director, Todd Haimes) is pleased to announce Bank of America's support of the upcoming Broadway production of Bye Bye Birdie. As part of their generous support, Bank of America has made it possible for all tickets to the first performance on September 10 to be sold for $10.00. These tickets will only be available for purchase at the Henry Miller's Theatre box office, beginning at 12pm on Monday, August 10. The box office is located at 124 West 43rd Street. Limit two tickets per person.
