Casting Announced For 21st Annual Colorado New Play Festival

The Colorado New Play Festival (CNPF) (Artistic Director Andrew Leynse) (formerly the Perry-Mansfield New Works Festival) is proud to announce full casting for all five play readings for the 2018 season. The 21st Annual Festival, to be held on June 10-16, 2018 in Steamboat Springs, CO, will develop five new works in partnership with the Actors Theatre of Louisville, Alley Theatre, Curious Theatre Company, Primary Stages, and Victory Gardens Theater.
2018 Alley ALL NEW FESTIVAL Begins This Saturday

The Alley Theatre's Alley All New Festival, January 20-28, 2018, features six playwrights and more than 30 actors from the Alley and around the country who will be presenting new work through a series of readings and workshop performances. In addition to Alley Resident Company members, many artists have existing connections to the Alley and some are making their Alley debut. The start of the festival will celebrate the reopening of the Neuhaus Theatre. PRIMARY STAGES announced today that the New York premiere of FADE, written by Tanya Saracho (Mala Hierba) and directed by Jerry Ruiz (Basilica), will now play on the Primary Stages Mainstage in January of 2017 at the Cherry Lane Theatre (38 Commerce St, New York, NY, 10014). FADE will occupy the Mainstage slot previously held by CITIZEN: AN AMERICAN LYRIC, which will be postponed to allow for further development prior to its New York premiere. CITIZEN will have a developmental workshop at Arts Emerson in Boston in March 2017.
