David Henderson BIO

David is the founder and Co-artistic director of Honest Pint Theatre Company. Most recently he appeared as in the title role in Richard III as well as Jan in Small Mouth Sounds, Thurston in Greater Tuna, Leontes in A Winter’s Tale and Salter in A Number. Favorite roles include Charlotte in I Am My Own Wife, Tracy in The Legend of Georgia McBride, Lombardi in LOMBARDI, Hamlet in HAMLET, Sweeney in Sweeney Todd, Chuck in The Absolute Brightness of Leonard Pelkey, Ulysses in Annapurna, Joey in A Steady Rain, Fr. Laurence in Romeo and Juliet, Iago in Othello, Bottom in A Midsummer Night's Dream, John Adams in 1776, Bobby in Company, and Henry in Henry V. For the past 29 years, he has had the honor of playing Jacob Marley in Theatre in the Park's annual production of A Christmas Carol. Thanks to all of you

World Premiere of Helena Wienrauch's A WILL TO LIVE to be Presented at Chain Theatre in August

Chain Theatre will present the world premiere production of 99-year-old NYC resident Helena Wienrauch’s A WILL TO LIVE, directed by Rick Hamilton and introducing Masha King.

On May 18th, 2023, DPAC hosted Triangle Rising Stars, central North Carolina’s High School Musical Theatre Awards, with host Clay Aiken and special guest Tony Award Winner Beth Leavel.  Lilly Pritchard from Heritage High School won the coveted Triangle Rising Stars Best Actress award and Noah Colvin from Enloe High School won the Triangle Rising Stars Best Actor award.

Today, The Midnight Hour--thetight rhythm section and full orchestra lead by Ali Shaheed Muhammad (A Tribe Called Quest) and Adrian Younge--released a new live recording of their celebrated 2018 self-titled debut album. The Midnight Hour: Live at Linear Labs features 15-tracks recorded live in front of an intimate audience at Younge's Highland Park, CA studio, Linear Labs. They will kick off their European tour this Sunday, April 21 in the U.K.
