Today, The 24 Hour Plays announced that the 10th annual application for The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals will be available starting March 24, 2021 and will run through April 11, 2021. The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals will take place virtually (for the second year in a row) and applicants from everywhere are engaged to apply. 

Showtime Renews COUPLES THERAPY for Season Two

Today, SHOWTIME announced it has picked up a second season of the acclaimed docu-series COUPLES THERAPY, from Sundance Award winning filmmakers Josh Kriegman, Elyse Steinberg and Eli Despres. The second season will also feature world-class therapist Dr. Orna Guralnik. Described as 'raw and delicious' by the The New York Times, 'addicting' by GQ and 'compulsively watchable' by Jezebel, COUPLES THERAPY has received critical praise from press and viewers alike, and is currently airing on Fridays at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Vera Farmiga's directorial debut, HIGHER GROUND, is a coming-of-age drama in which Farmiga delivers a subtle, nuanced performance completely from the gut, with equally strong and compelling supporting characters. Set against the backdrop of the Sixties, when feminism reached its zenith, the film expertly depicts the landscape of a tight-knit spiritual community. Inspired by the resonant memoir from Carolyn Briggs (who also wrote the screenplay) the film is an exquisite study of one woman's internal struggle with the primary love relationships in her life. John Hawkes, Donna Murphy, Bill Irwin, Dagmara Dominczyk, and Joshua Leonard round out the cast, along with Farmiga's younger sister Taissa, who proves herself to be an extraordinary new talent as Young Corinne.
