Candy Spelling

Candy Spelling is an author, television producer, and Broadway producer. Her autobiography, Stories from Candyland, was published in 2009 and became a New York Times bestseller. She followed it with the memoir Candy at Last in 2014 and has also written for outlets including TMZ and HuffPost.

For television, Spelling produced and starred in the HGTV specials Selling Spelling Manor (2011–2012) and Beyond Spelling Manor (2013), both of which documented her real estate ventures.

Spelling began producing on Broadway in 2010 with Promises, Promises, followed by How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (2011), Nice Work If You Can Get It (2012), After Midnight (2013), The Color Purple (2015), The Iceman Cometh (2018), Carousel (2018), and Three Tall Women (2018). Several of her productions received multiple Tony Award nominations and wins, including The Color Purple, which won the 2016 Tony Award for Best Revival of a Musical.
