Two-time Academy Award winner Glenda Jackson makes her long-awaited return to Broadway, on the heels of her triumphant reappearance last season on London's West End after a 25-year absence, alongside three-time Emmy and Tony Award winner Laurie Metcalf and Tony nominee Alison Pill in the Broadway premiere of Edward Albee's Pulitzer Prize-winning masterpiece, Three Tall Women.



In addition to the Pulitzer, the play also won the New York Drama Critics' Circle Award for Best Play, and the Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Play. Two-time Tony winner Joe Mantello directs.

Three Tall Women, directed with a sublimely paced grace by Joe Mantello, is very funny and very sad. It charts the progress of a life, and a discussion of the self as it ages, from the vantage point of knowing everything, down through the middle age of knowing quite a bit, and then the young person not knowing much at all.

Producer Scott Rudin has announced that to accommodate ticket demand, Edward Albee's Three Tall Women will add a ninth performance in its final week of performances. Nominated for six 2018 Tony Awards including Best Revival of a Play, Three Tall Women must close as previously scheduled on Sunday, June 24, with the added 7:00 PM show now the final performance for the ecstatically received production.
