Britain Shutters

Britain is a Chicago based performer. She attended the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies. Post graduation, Britain attended CAP21’s 2 Year Professional Musical Theatre training program. Select credits include Jack's Mother/Lucinda/Bird in “Into the Woods” with Kokandy, Bessica Feltcher in “Murder ReWrote” with Hell in a Handbag (Jeff Award Nomination – Principal Performer), Ensemble in Kokandy's "Head Over Heels," Queenie in Lippa’s "The Wild Party", Sarah in the Jeff Award winning production of "High Fidelity" with Refuge Theatre Project (2016 & 2017 Productions), "Carrie 2: The Rage (an unauthorized musical parody)" and "My Name Is Annie King" with Underscore Theatre Company, "Cabaret", and the Bear/Mrs.T in "Avenue Q." Britain is represented by BMG.
