Best selling author and biographer Michael Posner, author of the just-released Leonard Cohen, Untold Stories, which chronicles the breadth of Cohen's extraordinary life, will share stories at a new Sunday Morning with The Braid Zoom Event on Sunday, December 6, at 11:00am PT/2:00pm ET.

Acclaimed Jazz harpist-pianist-vocalist Corky Hale will present a 105th Birthday Show honoring Billie Holiday on Tuesday, April 7, at 7:30 PM, at the Catalina Jazz Club in Hollywood. 

Corky Hale's critically acclaimed holiday album, “Have Yourself a Jazzy Little Christmas,” has been reissued by LML Records.  An acclaimed jazz harpist, she also excels on piano and vocals.  She is joined by Kirk Smith on bass and Tom Walsh on drums.

She will discuss her new book Hippie Woman Wild: Life and Love on an Oregon Commune at Jewish Women's Theatre's Sunday Morning at the Braid on August 11.

Acclaimed Jazz harpist-pianist-vocalist Corky Hale will present a 102nd Birthday Show honoring Billie Holiday on Thursday, April 6, at 7:30 PM, at the Catalina Jazz Club in Hollywood. Hale is one of the few people still performing who was actually a close friend of Holiday's, playing for her on the 'Stars of Jazz' TV show, and on several recordings and live appearances, and was the only female pianist to regularly accompany her.
