BIO
As a child, Vale appeared in the 1981 film El Gran Triunfo, portraying the daughter of Mexican superstar Rigo Tovar. In 1998, she played Julieta in Soñadoras, and in 2001, she portrayed Wendy Nayeli Pérez in Amigas y rivales, both roles earning her critical acclaim. Her first starring role in a Mexican telenovela came with La Fea Más Bella, though she had previously appeared in several Spanish-language programs. From 2000 to 2005, she was a prominent celebrity impersonator on the comedy show La Parodia, leaving temporarily to take some time off. She also performed in El Privilegio de Mandar (2005–2006), a parody of the telenovela El Privilegio de Amar.
When La Fea Más Bella became Univision’s top-rated program in 2006, Vale gained widespread recognition, and many producers viewed her as a “sure thing,” opening doors for further opportunities. She was featured among People en Español’s “Los 50 Más Bellos” in 2007 and appeared solo on the magazine’s July 2007 cover, reflecting her rising international popularity. That same year, she made a guest appearance on Ugly Betty, playing a Lety look-alike named Angélica in the season finale. Vale remains with Televisa, with one of her most recent appearances being on Parodiando.
In radio, Vale began hosting middays at Los Angeles station KLLI "Cali 93.9" on October 15, 2019, later moving to mornings on January 28, 2020, alongside co-host Jose Quintero.
As a singer, Vale has performed on the soundtrack for La Fea Más Bella and contributed vocals to the theme song for La Parodia. She has done numerous musical impersonations, including of Verónica Castro, Shakira, Thalía, and Laura León, in both her acting and comedic work. In 2007, she sang a theme song from La Fea Más Bella on El Show de Cristina, and in 2008, she recorded the album Navidad con Amigos with Ricardo Montaner.
