Aimee Doherty Biography
For the past dozen years, Aimee has honed her skills as an actress, singer and dancer in the Greater Boston area, picking up two Elliot Norton Awards and two IRNE Awards for Best Actress in a Musical. Along the way, she has displayed a range that runs from Shakespeare to Kander and Ebb to Bernstein and Sondheim, drawing wide critical acclaim.Recently, Aimee soloed at Symphony Hall with the Boston Pops under the baton of Keith Lockhart. She starred as Rosalind in AS YOU LIKE IT at Shakespeare & Company, and appeared in the Huntington Theatre Company's MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG, directed by Maria Friedman, as Gussie Carnegie.
