Malcolm X The Musical Staged Concert at Historic Ritz Theatre

Malcolm X The Musical is an original stage production by lyricist and composer Tommie Wofford. The musical features a full musical score set against the backdrop of the civil rights movement with compelling songs and scenes that tell the story of human rights activists Malcolm X. This benefit concert will be performed by the cast of Malcolm X, local musical theatre students, and performers from central Florida theatre companies as well as Broadway and national tours. Malcolm X The Musical has been performed at numerous theatres in Florida and beyond such as the Award Winning Theatre Winter Haven, Stetson University's Second Stage Theatre, Orlando Shakes Theatre, and more! Songs from the musical have been presented in concert from Winter Haven's Lake Maude Recreation Park to Broadway's Living Room at 54 Below in New York City!
