Project Girl Performance Collective (www.projectgirlperformancecollective.org), a non-profit theatre group that creates a fearless space for girls to write and perform their own work presents the Project Girl Congo.
This event addresses the atrocities of war and rape affecting women in the Congo in a cutting edge show written and performed by girls (ages 8-21). Company members from throughout the NYC area will inspire you in this showcase of theatre, dance, music, monologues, poetry and activism created in partnership with youth leaders in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
