And for one night only on Saturday, June 8, 2019, the legendary Brian Wilson will be performing at the Capitol Center for the Arts (Concord, NH). This show - which also features special guests Al Jardine and Blondie Chaplin - is part of Wilson's 'Pet Sounds: The Final Performances' tour. Opening for Wilson is Beat Boot Revival.

New Hampshire Theatre Project's Elephant-in-the-Room Series final presentation for this season will focus on the topic of Suicide & Self-Harm, featuring a reading of the play Final Thoughts by Tim Barretto. New Hampshire Theatre Project is partnering with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention on this program, and any donations at the door will benefit the Foundation.

New Hampshire Theatre Project's Elephant-in-the-Room Series continues with the topic of School Safety in the 21st Century, featuring Poster 528, a compilation of readings on the issue of school safety.  Sources include Parkland by Dave Cullen, A Mother's Reckoning: Living in the Aftermath of Tragedy by Sue Klebold, The School Shooter: A Threat Assessment Perspective by Maryellen O'Toole/Department of Justice, and numerous articles, surveys, poems and personal stories collected by Genevieve Aichele, assisted by Tim Barretto, Kolby Hume and Catherine Stewart. New Hampshire Theatre Project is partnering with the Portsmouth Police Department on this program, and any donations at the door will benefit the PPD.
Pontine Premieres TALES OF NEW ENGLAND LIFE this April

April 4 - 14, Pontine Theatre continues its premiere season at the Plains School, with performances of Tales of New England Life, its original stage adaptation of four stories by New Hampshire author, Alice Brown (1857-1948). Pontine's newly renovated Plains School, located at One Plains Avenue in Portsamouth's West End, is fully accessible with convenient free parking adjacent. Performances are Thursdays at 3pm, Fridays at 7pm, Saturdays at 3pm and Sundays at 2pm. Tickets are $27 and may be purchased online at www.pontine.org.
