Mary Gatchell will be performing her own music with her NYC-based band at the new Leddy Center on Friday, October 12 at 7:30pm. Mary Gatchell is a dynamic singer, pianist, and composer living in New York City with four albums to her credit. A magna cum laude graduate of NYU in music composition, Mary has played in legendary clubs such as the Blue Note, Birdland, Bitter End, CBGB's, Knitting Factory, Boston House of Blues, Ryles, and many more.

The 2012-13 season of The Met: Live in HD opera series opens at the Peterborough Players theatre on October 13, at 1:00 pm, with Donizetti's L'Elisir d'Amore (The Elixir of Love). The Metropolitan Opera will simulcast 12 operas on Saturday afternoons via satellite and high definition equipment onto a large screen at the Players' intimate 250-seat theatre.

Beckett's humor is often bittersweet and his heroes are clowns along the same lines as Chaplin and Keaton.

This glimpse of The Rep's upcoming 25th Anniversary Season will feature live performances from the Mainstage musicals, Red Light and Rock The Rep series that will grace the stage in 2013. In exchange for a $10,000 sponsorship, Small Dog Electronics in Manchester, NH will receive Palace Theatre partnership benefits including Performing Arts Series performance tickets, advertising and other planned promotions.

Pontine Theatre announces its 35th performance season at the West End Studio Theatre in Portsmouth NH. Two things unite the wide range of work presented in Pontine Theatre's annual performance series: all use expression through movement as a primary dramatic vehicle and all are original works or adaptations created by the artists who perform them. This season the series features five productions: two by Pontine and three by invited guest artists. Pontine's West End Studio Theatre is located at 959 Islington Street in Portsmouth, NH. Performances are Fridays & Saturdays at 4pm & at 8pm, and Sundays at 2pm. Season subscriptions are $90 ($10 discount for students & seniors). Dolly Parton wrote the music and lyrics for the stage version, which includes 'Around Here,' 'Backwoods Barbie,' 'Get Out and Stay Out,' and the signature song, '9 to 5.' Based on the book by Patricia Resnick, this is a hilarious comedy about friendship and workplace vengeance.
