Frist Center's FREE Family Day invites family and friends to share in a day overflowing with art and creativity!
WHAT: FREE Family Day filled with interactive art activities, exhibitions, henna painting, Indian music demonstrations, and Rangoli chalk drawings.

Family Day March 27th is all about India: explore the rich traditions of art making and storytelling that are inspired by the exhibition Vishnu: Hinduism's Blue-Skinned Savior. Discover the Hindu deity Vishnu the Preserver and his ten avatars, which are represented by more than 170 works of art including textiles, miniature paintings, devotional objects, and stone sculpture. Visit Hindu Home Shrines: Creating Space for Personal Contemplation and learn about the daily devotional practices of members of our local Hindu community.
