Act Up Theatre's CABARET FOR A CAUSE to Take Place This Wednesday

Act Up’s 5th annual “Cabaret for a Cause” will be held Wednesday, Dec. 29 at 7:00 pm at the TAK Music Venue in Dilworth.  This year's Cabaret for a Cause is a tribute to Elton John, and will support Lutheran Immigration & Refugee Service and refugee families coming to the Fargo-Moorhead area.

Seven emerging composers have been selected as participants for the Minnesota Orchestra's 18th annual Composer Institute, the Orchestra announced today. The selected composers, whose works encompass a wide variety of musical styles, were chosen from a pool of about 300 applicants and will be part of a deeply immersive experience in Minneapolis from May 2-6, 2022, as they participate in rehearsals, seminars and mentoring sessions.
