Dancing With The Stars' Anna Trebunskaya In FOREVER TANGO

The Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts announced a cast change in the upcoming production of FOREVER TANGO. Dancer Anna Trebunskaya, a regular on the popular TV series Dancing With the Stars, is replacing the previously announced Cheryl Burke. The Tony® nominated hit and recurring National PBS special will be presented at 8 p.m. on Sunday, February 12, in the Kravis Center's Alexander W. Dreyfoos, Jr. Concert Hall.
FST Announces NEXT TO NORMAL Talkback, 1/11

Florida Studio Theatre (FST) will hold a community forum about the Pulitzer Prize-winning musical Next to Normal on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at 5:00PM in the Keating Theatre (located at 1241 North Palm Avenue, Sarasota FL, 34236). The forum is free to attend, but requires reservations. Reservations can be made by calling the box office at (941) 366-9000.

The international smash hit musical, MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET is set on December 4, 1956, when an auspicious twist of fate brought Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley together. Sam Phillips, the "Father of Rock 'n' Roll" who was responsible for launching the careers of each icon, brought the four legendary musicians together at the Sun Records storefront studio in Memphis for the first and only time. The resulting evening became known as one of the greatest rock 'n' roll jam sessions in history.

At the Grand Opening Gala tonight of the holiday classic, Christmas Carole, Managing Partner Craig Smith announced a special homecoming performance for one of the Alhambra's - and Jacksonville's - own. Former Miss America and Jacksonville native, Leanza Cornett, will play the lead role in Nunsense. Nunsense will kick off the Alhambra's 45th season when it opens on December 30. Ms. Cornett will be in residence for the show's entire run.
