Kill Move Paradise, directed by Gregg T Daniel, explores the experiences of four Black men—Isa (Ulato Sam), Daz (Ahkei Togun), Grif (Jonathan P. Sims), and Tiny (Cedric Joe)—who find themselves in a cosmic waiting room after being taken from the world unexpectedly. As they navigate their new afterlife, they engage in playful interactions while confronting the circumstances of their arrival. Inspired by the ongoing violence against Black lives, the play serves as a poignant reminder of shared humanity. Performances run from September 14 to November 3 at the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble in West L.A.
