The Ready Set Selected For PUSH & POSTED

Decaydance/Sire Records artist THE READY SET has been selected for MTV's coveted "PUSH" & "POSTED" artist programs. The alternative-pop artist is featured as this week's "PUSH" artist, during which MTV uses its massive on-air and online reach to bring fans unparalled access, ranging from live performances and music videos to interviews and exclusive footage. MTV's "POSTED" program spotlights one artist for an entire month. The franchise lives on their web and mobile properties as a space that connects the artist directly with their fans in real time. As part of the program, each "POSTED" artist will be given a Motorola BACKFLIP^TM, AT&T's first Android smartphone. They will use the devices to submit content, including videos and photos, to their individual "POSTED" sites. The Ready Set is the "POSTED" artist for the month of October.

"Love Like Woe," the JR Rotem-produced first single from The Ready Set's debut album I'm Alive I'm Dreaming, is currently breaking at pop radio across the country. It is the #1 Billboard Heatseeker and is steadily climbing on the Mainstream Top 40 airplay chart, where it is currently #28. The song has sold over 300k digital singles so far, and the video for the track has gotten over 3 million views on YouTube.

The Ready Set is 20 year-old Indiana-born drummer, singer, songwriter and keyboardist Jordan Witzigreuter, who creates infectious, danceable pop designed for fun. I'm Alive, I'm Dreaming is the first release from the newly minted joint venture between Sire Records and Pete Wentz's Decaydance Records. It is available everywhere.

On October 20th The Ready Set is taking the party mobile on a fall tour supporting Hey Monday and Cartel. The nationwide run kicks off in St. Petersburg, FL and goes through November 27th in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
